A little post featuring David who raced the Catford Hill Climb last Sunday morning and Bec in the afternoon. Since last year, David has fitted a single chainring on his bike and is sporting some pretty lightweight wheels in an effort to go faster. I'm afraid I was to busy shouting to film properly, but as you can see from the video, the crowds were out in force, especially on Toy's hill for the Catford race.

The competition was really strong at both races, with some of the UK's top hill climbers entering. In the end, David finished a commendable 36th (out of 138) on Catford with a 2:18 and 40th (out of 123) on Bec with a 2:17.4

The local Essex hill climbs are coming up in the next couple of weeks with David looking in good form to defend his Lea Valley CC hill climb crown.
